A question no one was really asking

There are clothes that make noise before they're even worn. Logos that speak for those who wear them, trends that often run out of steam before they even begin. François, founder of ANONYM APPAREL, no longer wanted that. He was looking for something else, something harder to find than it seems: a well-cut basic, uncompromising, with no visible signature.
A garment that lasts and remains understated.

Peru as a starting point, and as an anchor

The answer came from elsewhere. Far from the runways and seasons, in northern Peru, grows Pima cotton, one of the rarest fibers in the world. A long-staple fiber, hand-picked, cultivated without chemical herbicides, with a softness and strength that ordinary cotton never achieves.

Higher in the Andes, alpaca has for centuries produced exceptional wool, light and thermoregulating, inheriting a thousand years of expertise. Peru was not a destination. It became an obvious choice.

Two materials. One requirement.

ANONYM APPAREL is based on a simple, almost radical philosophy in its sobriety: sourcing the best materials in the world, treating them uncompromisingly, cutting them simply.

Peruvian Pima cotton for its lightness and durability. Alpaca wool for its natural nobility and comfort in all seasons. Two exceptional materials, serving ready-to-wear pieces.

French minimalism as a language of creation

The pieces are born in Peru, but they are conceived in France. It is here that the clean, measured cuts, freed from the superfluous, are designed. Peruvian excellence meets French minimalism: two cultures of craftsmanship, two ways of approaching the essential.
